Whenever possible, K.P. Lynne has donated her time and talents to her community. She has volunteered for numerous charitable causes and created her own Community Service Initiatives, "Write! Don't Fight," to encourage problem solving by writing rather than fighting, "Don't Be ILL, Be Literate" to help illiterate adults and children, and she founded the "Hoodie Hugs" program. Author K.P. Lynne is presently an ambassador for Illinois Reads, a program of the Illinois Reading Council, and reads at Illinois libraries and schools when her schedule permits. K.P.
